The moments when a person jumped into the waters of the Bosphorus from the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge were captured on camera second by second. Eren Acar and his friend, who were at sea at that time, noticed the activity on the bridge and approached the scene. While Acar and his friend took the person who fell into the water onto their boat and brought them to the pier, it was learned that the person, who received first aid from health teams, was alive.

THOUGHT A FILM WAS BEING SHOT ON THE BRIDGE
The incident occurred under the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge. According to the information obtained, Eren Acar and his friend, who saw vehicles stopping on the bridge and a crowd forming, initially thought a film shooting was taking place on the bridge. Later, noticing a person leaning over the bridge railings, Acar saw the person suddenly throw themselves into the waters of the Bosphorus.
THEY HAD A HELMET ON THEIR HEAD
After the person, who had a motorcycle helmet on their head, fell into the water, Acar and his friend headed toward the scene by boat. Pulling the person, who was motionless in the water, into their boat, Acar quickly reached the nearest pier.
"THEY THREW THEMSELVES SUDDENLY"
Eren Acar, an eyewitness to the incident, described what happened as follows:
"At first, we noticed the crowd on the bridge. Vehicles had stopped on the bridge, and a person was leaning over from there. At first, we thought it was a movie, we thought a film was being shot. When we looked a little more carefully, we realized it was real. Then we started to approach that area. The person suddenly threw themselves. They jumped with a helmet on their head and their slippers."
"WHITE WATER WAS COMING OUT OF THEIR MOUTH"
Stating that they immediately took action to remove the person from the water, Acar said, "After they fell, we approached them. They were floating in the water unconscious. We pulled them out with my friend onto the boat. We quickly brought them to the pier. When we brought them to the pier, they were breathing. Liquid was coming out of their mouth, foam, white water was coming out."
Upon the report, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. It was learned that the person, handed over to health teams at the pier, was taken to the hospital by ambulance after receiving first aid intervention. Acar stated that the person was breathing and alive when they pulled them out of the water. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
