A disabled citizen who had difficulty moving forward in his wheelchair due to illegally parked vehicles around Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital in Istanbul recorded the grievance he experienced with his mobile phone camera and reported it to police teams. In the inspections carried out by the teams of the Traffic Enforcement Bureau Office of the Başakşehir District Police Department, an administrative fine of 68,530 liras in total was applied to 55 vehicles found illegally parked.
HE WENT TO THE POLICE WHEN HE COULDN'T PASS
The incident took place around Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital. According to the information obtained, a disabled citizen using a wheelchair had difficulty passing due to vehicles parked on his route. The citizen, who recorded the situation caused by the wrong parking with his mobile phone camera, reported it to the Başakşehir District Police Department along with the images. Following the report, inspections for illegal parking were carried out in the area.
FINES IMPOSED ON 55 VEHICLE OWNERS
Motorcycle traffic teams affiliated with the Traffic Enforcement Bureau Office of the Başakşehir District Police Department carried out inspections in two separate time periods around Çam and Sakura City Hospital. In the inspections carried out, an administrative fine of 68,530 liras in total was applied to 55 vehicles detected as illegally parked, within the scope of Article 61 of the Highway Traffic Law No. 2918.
