In Rize, due to the rugged terrain preventing the construction of an artificial turf field, a newly built tea purchasing center was transformed into one by covering it with wire mesh and artificial grass, making it available for residents and young people preparing for tournaments.
In Soğuksu District, part of Büyükköy Town in Çayeli, Rize, the region's rugged terrain was not suitable for building an artificial turf pitch for the youth and residents, so a remarkable project was undertaken.
TEA PURCHASE POINT BELOW, ARTIFICIAL TURF PITCH ABOVE
To find the flat area needed for the turf pitch that could not be built on the slope, the top of the newly constructed tea purchase point in the neighborhood was utilized. The purchase point was wrapped with wire mesh, artificial grass was laid on top, and the turf pitch was created.

Mustafa Durmuş, stating that a great area was created to prepare for the Büyükköy Town football tournament held for the first time last year, said, "As Büyükköy Valley, we got involved in a tournament project last year with the encouragement of our headman Ramazan Küçüksarı. We plan to hold it every year. We even have plans to turn it into a festival in the future. We participated as a neighborhood. We will continue again this year. It's a wonderful organization. We have our pitch, and we are focused on training the players. We want the next generation after us to play football well. All facilities are available; it's the best of the best. What more can we say? We say long live our state. We thank everyone who contributed, our Provincial Youth and Sports Director, and our Minister Osman Aşkın Bak."

İbrahim Efe Durmuş, a young man who expressed that the turf pitch built on top of the tea purchase point in their neighborhood was a great opportunity for them, said, "It turned out to be a great pitch for our village. Our young people will play football here, and we, the younger generation, will grow up. We also have our football tournament this year. By God's will, we want to prepare well for it. It could have been better, we could have played better, but it was built later. Still, we are happy it exists now. So, God bless whoever did this. We thank them for bringing this pitch to us."
