The truth behind the bloody attack that left 29-year-old Ensar Sever dead, carried out by 15-year-old U.M.T., who came to a car dealership in Eyüpsultan on an unlicensed motorcycle and spread terror, has come to light. According to the police's findings as the investigation deepened, it was determined that the teenage gunman, who carried out the attack due to a feud, missed his target and mistakenly killed Sever, who had no connection to the incident.
A 15-year-old shooter, identified as U.M.T., who sprayed a car dealership with bullets from an unlicensed motorcycle in Istanbul's Eyüpsultan district, causing the death of 29-year-old Ensar Sever and injuring 3 others, has had the investigation into him deepened. As a result of the police's meticulous work, it was revealed that the armed assailant missed his actual target and killed the wrong person.
Behind the bloody attack that occurred in Eyüpsultan on July 30th, an organized settling of scores and a terrible mistake emerged. U.M.T., 15, arrived in front of the car dealership on a motorcycle with its license plate removed, and from his waist, he pulled out an unlicensed pistol and rained bullets inside.
CHAOS ENSUED: 1 DEAD, 3 WOUNDED
In the attack, Ensar Sever (29), Enes S. (34), Onur G. (30), and Onur H. (27), who were inside the dealership, collapsed to the ground covered in blood from bullets that struck their bodies. Upon the report, numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. Among the injured taken to the hospital after initial interventions, 29-year-old Ensar Sever could not be saved despite all efforts and lost his life.
HIS ESCAPE LASTED ONLY 12 MINUTES
According to the report by Habertürk reporter Mustafa Şekeroğlu; the teenage shooter who fled after the incident was caught red-handed just 12 minutes later as a result of the police teams' pursuit. In the information screening conducted on U.M.T., who was caught with the unlicensed weapon used in the incident, it was determined that he had 3 separate criminal records for serious crimes such as "intentional injury" and "robbery."
4 PEOPLE ARRESTED, A TERRIBLE DETAIL SURFACED
Following the murder, the Organized Crime Branch Directorate teams took over the investigation. Teams that deepened their work detained 3 more suspects identified as connected to the attack. After their procedures at the police station, 4 suspects, including 15-year-old U.M.T., were arrested and sent to prison.
In the latest examinations of the investigation file, a chilling detail came to light. It was determined that the attack was planned due to a feud between the parties, but the 15-year-old shooter U.M.T. confused the target and accidentally shot 29-year-old Ensar Sever, who had no connection to the incident whatsoever.
