DEER BROKE THE GLASS, TRIGGERED THE ALARM
Authorities stated that an adult male deer crashed into the bank's glass on Sunday, entering the premises and triggering the alarm in the process. The deer that entered panicked and ran around inside the bank, colliding with furniture and creating serious chaos.
POLICE TEAM RESCUED IT
Footage captured by police cameras showed the panicked deer struggling to navigate between tables and chairs. Suffolk County police were initially bewildered as they did not understand what they were facing. Later, the officers managed to control the deer with a lasso and successfully removed it from the building, releasing the animal safely.
NOBODY WAS INJURED, BANK REOPENED
During the incident, neither customers nor police were injured, and after the chaos inside the bank was cleared, the branch reopened for service. Suffolk Police Commissioner Kevin Catalina praised the team's handling of this unexpected situation.
