The General Secretary of Fenerbahçe Club, Burak Kızılhan, released a statement regarding Sadettin Saran's candidacy through the official media outlet of the yellow and navy blue team.
A statement regarding Sadettin Saran's candidacy has been made by the Fenerbahçe High Advisory Board. In the statement signed by Board Member Burak Kızılhan, it was stated that the application to the TFF was made upon the request of the general assembly members.
Here is the statement made;
"After the submission of the final confirmed lists of candidates for the Presidency and the Board of Directors of Fenerbahçe Sports Club on 17.09.2025 to the Presidency of the High Advisory Board (YDK), a protocol numbered 2025/3 was sent to our General Secretariat by the YDK Presidency to be published on our official website, and it was published on our official website at 19:56.
In the statement included in the mentioned protocol, it is stated that "Our club members Coşkun Akman (40716) and Alpaslan Çelebi (39486) have written to our Presidency with their petitions dated 15.09.2025 regarding the presidential candidate S. Sadettin Saran; 'In your statement last week, you shared a letter stating that if he is elected, legal issues will arise, and the club will be in a difficult situation. I request that the Ministry be asked whether there are any legal issues regarding this matter, so that the official opinion can be urgently published, in order not to mislead the votes we will cast at the congress and to ensure that our will is fully reflected in the ballot box.' it has been stated."
This petition submitted to the YDK Presidency by our congress members has been sent to our Fenerbahçe Sports Club General Secretariat with a cover letter numbered 2025/4 dated 17.09.2025, requesting information from the relevant institutions.
Our General Secretariat informed Fenerbahçe Sports Club Presidential Candidate Mr. S. Sadettin Saran on 18.09.2025 regarding these requests; it was verbally communicated to him that opinions would be obtained from the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Turkish Football Federation to fulfill the requirements of the application.
The General Secretariat of Fenerbahçe Sports Club sent letters requesting their opinions to the relevant institutions on September 18, 2025, regarding the application and information request made by our congress members whose names and registration numbers are mentioned above.
The opinions regarding our General Secretariat's application and information request were sent to us by the Turkish Football Federation on September 19, 2025.
