The period of salary increase that millions of civil servants are eagerly awaiting is approaching. The increase rate for civil servant salaries in 2025 has become clear with the inflation data announced today. Salaries, which vary according to title and job type, are being rearranged according to the determined increase rates. This regulation, which will also cover the lowest civil servant salaries as well as the salaries of watchmen and municipal police, will reveal the new figures.

DECEMBER INFLATION RATE ANNOUNCED

According to the data announced by TÜİK, the annual inflation rate for 2024 was 44.38%. In line with the announced data, the inflation rate for December was reported as 1.03%.

HOW MUCH IS THE WATCHMAN SALARY?

Based on the calculations made considering the inflation rate for the last 6 months of 2024, the watchman salary has been calculated. The watchman salaries, which vary according to the tiers, will increase by 11.55%. Accordingly, it is predicted that the lowest watchman salary will be at the level of 43,698 TL in 2025.

WHEN WILL THE INCREASED WATCHMAN SALARIES BE PAID?

The increase rate will be effective as of January. Civil servants will start receiving their increased salaries from this month onwards.

HOW MUCH WILL THE LOWEST CIVIL SERVANT SALARY BE?

With the increase, the lowest civil servant salary will rise from 39,177 TL to 43,698 TL, and the lowest retired civil servant pension will increase from 17,587 TL to 19,616 TL. The difference between the lowest civil servant salary and the lowest retired civil servant pension will rise from 21,590 TL to 24,082 TL.
