A verbal altercation occurred at the CHP Headquarters between a person claimed to be an advisor to Party Spokesperson Müslüm Sarı and journalist Yıldız Yazıcıoğlu. After Yazıcıoğlu asked Sarı a question, the remark "You're receiving yellow envelopes" was directed at Yazıcıoğlu, prompting reactions from other journalists in the press area. Yazıcıoğlu stated she would file a criminal complaint against the individual in question.

Following a press conference held at the Republican People's Party (CHP) Headquarters, tension arose in the hallway. After journalist Yıldız Yazıcıoğlu directed a question to CHP Spokesperson Müslüm Sarı, an argument broke out between a person identified as Sarı's advisor and the journalists.

"YELLOW ENVELOPE" STATEMENT CAUSED TENSION

As Müslüm Sarı headed toward the elevator, the advisor was alleged to have said to journalist Yıldız Yazıcıoğlu, "You're receiving yellow envelopes, so of course you ask such questions." Following this statement, other journalists in the press area joined the dispute and reacted.

ARGUMENT MOMENT ON CAMERA

Footage shared on social media captured the exchanges between press members gathered in front of the elevator and the advisor, whose name is unknown. In the footage, journalists were heard using the following statements toward the advisor:

"Why are you accusing us? Isn't what you're doing shameful? You're casting suspicion on us. Come out and explain! What does it mean to say a journalist 'took money'? This is slander. Everyone here works for their livelihood. Everyone receives money from their own institution. We've all known each other for 40 years, but we don't know you. Is this CHP or some other place? I don't understand! How shameful this is."

LEFT WITHOUT SAYING HIS NAME

Despite persistent questions from press members, the advisor, who did not reveal his name, boarded the elevator after the journalists' united reaction and left the press area, going to his designated floor.

"I WILL FILE A LAWSUIT"

Following the verbal altercation, journalist Yıldız Yazıcıoğlu stated that she would initiate legal proceedings and file a criminal complaint against the party official who made the remarks targeting her.
