Singer Yılmaz Morgül made striking claims about the past. Morgül, whose statements dropped like a bombshell on the entertainment agenda, alleged that he played a significant role at the start of singer Ebru Gündeş's music career. Morgül expressed that he faced ingratitude in return for this support.
“I EVEN HAD HER FIRST STAGE OUTFIT TAILORED”
Morgül, who was a guest on Saba Tümer's program, stated that he actively contributed to Gündeş's stage debut, saying, “I initiated her first stage rehearsal and ensured she was included in the lineup. I even had her first stage costume tailored.” The artist claimed that their relationship deteriorated during his own time as a headliner, asserting that harsh words were said to him during that period.

Emphasizing that he experienced great hurt after the events, Morgül expressed his reaction with the words, “She used words I would never utter. I am very upset with her; I do not forgive her in any way.”

Yılmaz Morgül then made a reproach to Superstar Ajda Pekkan. Morgül said, “I am one of the important tenors in Turkey, but they always blocked my path. The first two people to hear my song at the record company before its release were Ajda Pekkan and Adnan Şenses. They always blocked my path.”
