OSYM President Bayram Ali Ersoy announced that the YKS placement results have been announced. Candidates can access the results at https://ykssonuc.osym.gov.tr; registrations will take place on August 24-28, and electronic registrations on August 24-26, 2026. An additional preference process will be offered for those who could not be placed.
ÖSYM President Bayram Ali Ersoy announced that the 2026-Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) placement results have been published at "ykssonuc.osym.gov.tr".
Ersoy said, "Dear candidates, the YKS preference process has been completed, congratulations. I congratulate our candidates who have been placed in a higher education program and wish you a productive educational process. The additional preference process will be a new opportunity for our candidates who could not be placed in any program."
According to the 2026 main placement results, university registrations for successful candidates will be held between August 24-28, 2026. Electronic registrations will take place on August 24-26, 2026.
WHEN IS THE ADDITIONAL PLACEMENT?
ÖSYM has not yet announced the 2026-YKS additional preference dates. First, the August 24-28 registrations will be completed; after determining the quotas left vacant due to non-registration, ÖSYM will publish the additional placement guide. In 2025, central placement results were announced on August 25, and additional placement preferences began on September 25. When the additional preference process starts, candidates are expected to make their preferences again via ÖSYM AİS. Last year, applications were entirely received electronically.
