In the blood-curdling incident that occurred at midnight in Tekirdağ's Çorlu district, 28-year-old Abdurrahman Keçi seriously wounded Mehmet Arslan, with whom he had a feud, using a pistol, and then ended his own life in a grassy area where he fled. BLOODY MEETING AFTER RESTAURANT EXIT
The incident took place around 00:30 at night on Çanakkale Şehitler Boulevard in Çorlu's Önerler neighborhood. According to claims, 27-year-old Mehmet Arslan came out after eating at a restaurant. At that moment, he encountered Abdurrahman Keçi, who was known to have a prior feud with him. The verbal argument that started between the two young men quickly flared up and turned into a fight.
6 BULLETS HIT HIS BODY
Unable to control his anger, Abdurrahman Keçi drew an unlicensed pistol from his waist and fired, showering Mehmet Arslan with bullets. Arslan collapsed to the ground covered in blood after being hit by 6 bullets, while the attacker Keçi took advantage of the darkness and quickly fled the scene. Upon reports from those who heard the gunshots, many police, gendarmerie, and medical teams were dispatched to the area. Severely injured Arslan was taken by ambulance to Çorlu State Hospital and admitted to intensive care.
FOUND SHOT IN THE HEAD
Law enforcement launched a large-scale manhunt around the boulevard to capture the fleeing attacker. While the search efforts were ongoing, a single gunshot was heard from a grassy area near the scene. Teams focusing on the direction of the sound found Abdurrahman Keçi lying motionless on the ground, shot in the head. Medical teams determined that Keçi had ended his own life with the weapon he used in the incident.
It was learned that Mehmet Arslan, who is fighting for his life at the hospital, remains in critical condition, while the prosecutor's office has launched a comprehensive investigation into the horrific night.
