Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır announced KOSGEB Emergency Support for SMEs affected by floods and flash floods, particularly in Istanbul. KOSGEB will cover the entire interest or profit share of the loan to be provided up to 1 million TL for small businesses and 500,000 TL for micro businesses. The loans will have a 24-month term and a 6-month grace period; the final application deadline is December 31, 2026.
Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır announced that Emergency Support has been implemented through KOSGEB for SMEs affected by floods and flash floods. Under the support, loans of up to TRY 1 million for small businesses and TRY 500,000 for micro businesses will be provided.
SMEs IN ISTANBUL AND OTHER CITIES ARE WITHIN SCOPE
In a statement on his social media account, Minister Kacır said, "We are implementing Emergency Support through KOSGEB so that our SMEs affected by flood and flash flood disasters in Istanbul and our other cities can compensate for their economic losses and continue their activities."
ALL INTEREST IS COVERED BY KOSGEB, 6-MONTH PAYMENT HOLIDAY
According to the statement, there will be no financing cost on the loans; all of the loan interest or profit share will be covered by KOSGEB. The loans will have a 24-month maturity and a 6-month grace period.
The deadline for applications for the support has been set as December 31, 2026. Kacır said, "We continue to stand by our SMEs."
