The daughter-in-law Zuhal Böcek, who was detained within the scope of the 'bribery' investigation opened against arrested Muhittin Böcek, who was suspended from his post as the Mayor of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, was arrested by the criminal judgeship of peace to which she was referred.

ARREST WARRANT FOR ZUHAL BÖCEK
The procedures of three suspects, including Zuhal Böcek, who was detained as part of the investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against Böcek, who was suspended from his position as the Mayor of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, have been completed at the police station.
After their health checks, the suspects were taken to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan. Among the suspects who gave statements at the prosecutor's office, Zuhal Böcek was referred to the criminal judgeship of peace with a request for arrest on charges of "laundering assets derived from crime." Böcek was arrested by the court she was taken to.
The other two suspects were released after their statement procedures.
INVESTIGATION
As part of the investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into allegations of bribery regarding Muhittin Böcek, who was suspended from his position as the Mayor of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, a detention decision was issued against three suspects, including his daughter-in-law Zuhal Böcek.
In this context, Zuhal Böcek and two suspects were detained by police on April 30.
