Gülçiçek Çiçekdağ (14), who went to school by bus in the Çermik district of Diyarbakır, has been missing for 11 days. Gülçiçek's mother, Hanım Çiçekdağ, said, "My daughter is only 14 years old. I am also filing a complaint against the person who deceived and took her away. Please, if anyone sees or hears anything, let us know. My daughter is still a child; she doesn't even know what she is doing."
On April 7, Gülçiçek Çiçekdağ, a first-year student at Çermik Girls' Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, went to school by bus from her home in the Akpınar neighborhood of the rural district of Çermik and did not return home. When the family could not reach Gülçiçek by their own means, they reported her missing. A search operation was initiated to find Gülçiçek. The family stated that they learned their daughter was abducted by M.Y. for the purpose of marriage and filed a complaint.
"I WANT MY DAUGHTER, DEAD OR ALIVE"
Gülçiçek's mother, Hanım Çiçekdağ, said, "I have not heard from my daughter for days. Is she dead or alive? We don't even know that. I want my daughter. If she is dead, I want her body; if she is alive, I want her alive. I am calling out to the necessary authorities from here; my daughter is only 14 years old. I am also complaining about the person who deceived and took her. Is it an organization? We don't know. Where is my daughter? I can't sleep, nor can I look at other children’s faces. I want my daughter from you; I don't want anything else. Please, if anyone sees or hears anything, let them inform us. You are all mothers, you all have children. My daughter is still a child; she doesn't even know what she is doing. Did she go on her own, was she taken by force, was she kidnapped, or was she killed? I don't know," she said.
