Zagros Hiwa, one of the so-called leaders of the PKK's umbrella organization KCK, stated that for the solution negotiations with Turkey to begin, the terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan must be released, saying, "This is a prerequisite for a just peace." Hiwa noted that the terrorist organization has taken unilateral steps as a "goodwill gesture," while accusing Turkey of only relying on rhetoric.

Amed Malazgirt, one of the leaders of the terrorist organization PKK in Kandil, claimed in an interview he gave to the French news agency AFP in a cave the other day that they took steps assigned to the organization under the instruction of terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan during the "Terror-Free Turkey" process, demanding freedom for Öcalan and stating that they would not take a step until Ankara did.

"THE START OF NEGOTIATIONS DEPENDS ON ÖCALAN'S FREEDOM"

A similar statement came from the PKK front. Zagros Hiwa, the Spokesperson for Foreign Relations of the PKK's umbrella organization, the Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK), stated that Abdullah Öcalan must be released for the solution negotiations with Turkey to begin, saying, "For the negotiations to start, both sides need to come together on equal terms. Öcalan played a decisive role in the steps taken by the PKK as a goodwill gesture in the last year. The chief negotiator of the Kurdish side must be free to negotiate under free and equal conditions. This is a prerequisite for a just peace."

"TURKEY IS NOT TAKING CONCRETE STEPS"

Continuing to speak about the process, Hiwa claimed that the PKK has taken unilateral steps as a "goodwill gesture" so far, while Turkey has only relied on rhetoric and has not taken the necessary concrete steps.

"ABDİ AND AHMED WILL COME TO TURKEY, THEY WILL MEET ÖCALAN" CLAIM

Abdulrahim Samawi, the President of Taml Research Center, claimed that Ferhat Abdi Şahin, code-named "Mazlum Kobani," the leader of the PKK/YPG's extension, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), along with SDF Foreign Relations Officer İlham Ahmed, will visit Turkey next month to meet with PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan in Imralı. Both Mazlum Abdi and İlham Ahmed are on Turkey's "Wanted Terrorists" list. Legal experts state that it is not possible for the two to come to Turkey without legal arrangements.
