HE ANNOUNCED THE YEAR-END INFLATION FORECAST
In his speech, Şimşek emphasized that price stability is a priority, stating, "Our top priority is to reduce inflation. Our goal is to bring inflation below 20% next year." Sharing expectations for 2025, Şimşek said, "We will likely end 2025 at around 31% inflation. Rent inflation, education inflation, that is, service inflation is still high, but it has decreased from 97% to 44%. Inflation is decreasing and will continue to decrease."
HE GAVE A CLUE ABOUT THE 6-MONTH INFLATION
Minister Şimşek's inflation forecast of 31% for the end of 2025 also shapes the increase rates in the second half of the year. Based on this expectation, it is predicted that inflation for the second 6-month period of 2025 will be around 12.28%.
WHAT WILL THE RAISE FOR CIVIL SERVANTS AND RETIREES BE?
According to this calculation;
- The raise for SSK and BAĞ-KUR retirees will be 12.28%,
- The raise for civil servants and civil servant retirees will be at the level of 18.7%.
HOW MUCH WILL THE LOWEST RETIREMENT SALARY BE?
If a 12.28% raise is applied to SSK and BAĞ-KUR retirees, the lowest retirement salary will rise to 18,953 lira.
