In the İnegöl district of Bursa, the school principal who pushed a student during a flag ceremony gave a statement to the public prosecutor. It was decided that the principal, whose statement was taken, would be tried without detention.
A decision has been made regarding the school principal and Social Studies Teacher Mustafa Ç. who grabbed 6th-grade student Muhammed Emin K. by the collar and threw him to the ground at Ömer Osman Çağlayan Middle School in the rural Yeniceköy neighborhood of İnegöl district, Bursa.

On December 12, during a flag ceremony at Ömer Osman Çağlayan Middle School, while students were lined up, school principal Mustafa Ç. called the student named Muhammed K. (11) to him, allegedly for disrupting the order of the line. Mustafa Ç. pushed the student he grabbed by the collar. As Muhammed K. was thrown backward and fell to the ground, those moments were recorded on a mobile phone.
SUSPENDED FROM DUTY
In a written statement from the District National Education Directorate, it was stated, "The deputy principal working at the relevant school has been removed from duty due to the unfortunate incident reported in the local and national press today; he has been suspended from duty by the district governor's office in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Servants Law No. 657. An official investigation has been initiated by the İnegöl Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, and an administrative investigation has been initiated by the National Education Directorate, and the process is being closely monitored. The public will be informed about the course and outcome of the investigation in line with developments."
WILL BE TRIED WITHOUT ARREST
