In the Sarıçam district of Adana, 34-year-old Sergen Altunbaş shot his 8 and 6-year-old children with a gun after his wife left the house following an argument and did not return. Altunbaş then committed suicide, while his relatives set his vehicle on fire.
A father who shot his two children with a gun in the central Sarıçam district of Adana committed suicide.

In the villa located in the Boynuyoğun neighborhood, Sergen Altunbaş (34), whose wife left the house following a dispute a few days ago, fired a gun at his children Ada (8) and Mert (6).
HE COMMITTED SUICIDE
Sergen Altunbaş then committed suicide with the same gun. Police and medical teams who arrived at the scene upon notification found the lifeless bodies of Altunbaş and his children in the house. Relatives who came to the area after the incident set fire to Altunbaş's vehicle parked in the garden.
HIS SOCIAL MEDIA POST ATTRACTED ATTENTION
Meanwhile, Sergen Altunbaş's post on social media months ago, "A woman can make you a minister or a beggar," drew attention. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
