A fire broke out in a forested area in the Urla district of İzmir. Due to the fire, security measures were taken on the road between Urla and Bademler neighborhood. The fire was brought under control as a result of the intervention by the teams.

As the effects of the summer heat increased, forest fires broke out in many parts of Turkey. Especially in the past weeks, the fires in İzmir's districts have caused significant damage to the region.
IZMIR IS BURNING AGAIN
Another forest fire has broken out in İzmir. A fire erupted for an undetermined reason in the forested area near Naipli Neighborhood in Urla district.
Upon notification, 4 planes, 13 helicopters, 34 water tankers, 9 tankers, and 3 bulldozers from the İzmir Regional Directorate of Forestry, along with teams from the İzmir Fire Department, were dispatched to the area. Gendarmerie teams took security measures on the road between Urla and Bademler Neighborhood.
It was observed that the area around the transformer center, which is close to where the fire broke out, was cleared by construction machinery.
