The new party program was approved by delegates at the 39th Ordinary Congress of the Republican People's Party. On the first day of the congress, changes to the party's charter and the congress regulations were also voted on and accepted. CHANGES IN 15 ARTICLES

According to the change made in the party bylaws, the number of members in the Party Assembly (PM) increased from 60 to 80. The number of members in the Science Culture Art Platform increased from 8 to 10. It was decided to implement a 10% youth branch quota for the age group of 18-30 and a 15% working age quota for the age group of 31-40.
CANDIDACY APPLICATIONS CONTINUE
The definition of the Presidential Candidacy Office in the bylaws, as well as the regulation that employees of party municipalities and their affiliated organizations and subsidiaries, as well as board members and consultants of these entities, cannot be candidates in congresses, was also established. Additionally, candidacy applications for the position of party leader have started to be received at the congress. Applications will continue to be accepted until 10:30 tomorrow.
The congress will continue with the election of the party leader on Saturday, November 29, and the elections for the High Disciplinary Board (YDK) and the Party Assembly (PM) on Sunday, November 30.
