In Kahramanmaraş, a fine of 250,000 lira was imposed and the business was closed due to the use of sauce from a detergent container in a raw meatball shop.
"SAUCE IN A DETERGENT CONTAINER" AT THE RAW MEATBALL SHOP
The incident occurred in a makeshift mobile raw meatball shop operating in the Yusuflar neighborhood of the Onikişubat district. Following the attention drawn by images of 'sauce in a detergent container' on social media, teams from the District Agriculture Directorate conducted an inspection of the business.
250,000 LIRA FINE IMPOSED AND BUSINESS CLOSED
During the inspection, it was determined that plastic containers unsuitable for contact with food were being used. Following the examinations, a fine of 250,000 lira was imposed on the business, and it was closed. Subsequently, the makeshift structure housing the business was confiscated by municipal police and removed from the area. It was reported that the process regarding the matter is ongoing.
