In the Yahşihan district of Kırıkkale, an elderly couple lost their lives due to carbon monoxide gas leaking from a stove. The couple, found motionless by their relatives, were taken to the morgue for autopsy.
Relatives of Celal (67) and Sündüs Türkoğlu (64), who reside in the Yeşilöz area of Irmak village in the Yahşihan district of Kırıkkale, went to their home after not hearing from them. Family members who entered the house found the elderly couple motionless in their rooms. After the situation was reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center, health, gendarmerie, and fire teams were dispatched to the scene.
IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE COUPLE WAS POISONED BY CARBON MONOXIDE
In the initial examination conducted by health teams, it was determined that Celal and Sündüs Türkoğlu died from carbon monoxide poisoning that leaked from the stove. The couple's bodies were taken to the Kırıkkale Forensic Medicine Institution morgue for autopsy.
