DEFENDANTS REVEALED THEIR MONTHLY INCOMES
During the first hearing, some defendants disclosed their monthly incomes in response to questions from the court panel. It was stated that the total monthly income of the 8 defendants who declared their income was 1 million 640 thousand TL, with an average income of 205 thousand TL per person. Some defendants expressed that they currently have no income due to their detention.
NOTABLE INCOME DECLARATIONS IN ADANA
During the identification process, Adana Metropolitan Mayor Zeydan Karalar stated that his monthly income is 360 thousand TL. Ceyhan Mayor Kadir Aydar declared that he is single and his monthly income is 100 thousand TL. Seyhan Mayor Oya Tekin stated that her monthly income is 150 thousand TL, while her spouse Celal Tekin declared a monthly income of 500 thousand TL.
AVERAGE 140 THOUSAND TL IN ISTANBUL DISTRICTS
Avcılar Mayor Utku Caner Çaykara indicated that his monthly income is 130 thousand TL. Former Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer stated that his monthly income is 150 thousand TL. In response to the question of whether he has a criminal record, Özer mentioned that he was sentenced to prison last week, but the decision has not yet become final.
RIZA AKPOLAT: I HAVE NO INCOME
Former Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat stated that all of his assets have been seized and that he currently has no income. Akpolat was arrested on allegations of bribery related to illegal structures on the Bosphorus.

Aziz İhsan Aktaş, who is alleged to be the leader of the criminal organization, declared that he is a businessman and his monthly income is 250 thousand TL. Aktaş made a brief statement in front of the courthouse before the trial, saying, "Justice is the foundation of property. As I said on the first day today, I did not flee, I am here. I will repeat what I said."
