BOMB THREAT TURNED OUT TO BE FALSE
Airport sources stated that the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, with approximately 200 passengers on board, landed at Leonardo da Vinci Airport in Rome, while the airline's crew was alerted to a bomb threat when the plane was over the Caspian Sea.
US media reported that the airline received a bomb threat via email, but it turned out to be false. In a statement made by American Airlines, it was said, "Safety and security are our top priorities, and we thank our customers for their understanding."
