AN EXPLOSION OCCURRED IN THE DORMITORY'S KITCHEN SECTION
The incident occurred around 8:30 PM in a private girls' student dormitory located in the Bahçelievler neighborhood of the Serdivan district. An explosion occurred in the kitchen section of the dormitory for reasons yet unknown. Significant damage was caused in the kitchen area after the explosion.
STUDENTS WERE RELOCATED TO HOTELS
Upon notification, fire and police teams were dispatched to the scene. While the fire department began a technical investigation in the kitchen section, it was reported that the exact cause of the explosion would be clarified after a report is prepared. No injuries were reported in the incident, and the 35 students staying in the dormitory were relocated to hotels in the district.
