Hamas official Fawzi Barhoum stated that there has been no change in Hamas's demands for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip following the attack by Israel on the Hamas delegation in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
While the repercussions of the Israeli army targeting senior Hamas figures in Doha continue; a critical statement came from Hamas.
SPOKE IN THE CITY HIT BY ISRAEL
Hamas official Fawzi Barhoum made statements in Doha, the capital of Qatar, which was hit by Israel. In his statement regarding the attack carried out by Israel on September 9 in Doha, Barhoum expressed that the Hamas negotiation delegation was targeted in the attack and that the delegation was discussing a new proposal for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip presented by Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani a day earlier. Barhoum said, "At the time of the attack, the negotiation delegation was discussing the response they would give to the proposal."
"NO CHANGE IN OUR DEMANDS"
After the attack, Barhoum stated that there has been no change in Hamas's demands for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, reiterating that Hamas's fundamental demands for a ceasefire are a complete ceasefire, the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, a real prisoner-hostage exchange, humanitarian aid, and the reconstruction of the region.
"AN ATTEMPT TO ACHIEVE A FICTITIOUS VICTORY"
Barhoum stated, "This crime is a declaration of war against all Arab and Islamic countries. Israel's failed attempt is an effort to achieve a fictitious victory following its failure in Gaza." Barhoum also announced that Hamas's Gaza leader Khalil al-Haya's wife was injured in the Israeli attack.
