A woman who runs a jewelry business in Istanbul was shot at three times with an automatic weapon by masked assailants within three months. The police revealed that the attacks were carried out by hitmen hired by the woman's husband, from whom she is in the process of getting a divorce. KAĞITHANE PUBLIC ORDER POLICE CAPTURED
Following the incident, the Kağıthane Public Order Bureau teams initiated an investigation and began examining security camera footage. In ongoing investigations, police conducted a retrospective analysis of the camera footage and determined that two suspects on a motorcycle had dismounted nearby and walked to the scene. It was also established that one suspect acted as a lookout during the incident. In the ongoing investigations, it was identified that the suspect riding the motorcycle was Şiyar Ege Ö. (16), the suspect who carried out the attack was Gürkan S. (18), and the person who delivered the motorcycle for use in the incident was Kayra Y. (18).
8 SUSPECTS WHO ORGANIZED 3 ATTACKS ARRESTED
The Kağıthane Public Order Bureau teams, having completed their preparations, conducted an operation at Kayra Y.'s home. While 3 suspects were apprehended, searches at the house led to the seizure of a long-barreled automatic weapon, 5 cartridges, and the mask and clothes used in the incident. The 3 suspects taken into custody were brought to the police station along with the seized items. After their statements were taken and judicial procedures were carried out, it was revealed that the 3 suspects had a total of 11 crimes recorded in the police database and were referred to the courthouse. The suspects brought before the court were arrested and sent to prison for the crimes of 'deliberately endangering public safety', 'violating the firearms law', and 'damaging property'.
