Ten people who died in a bus accident in Antalya were bid farewell to their final journey with tears. It was learned that Aslı Çevik, the entertainment manager at a hotel in Manavgat, came to the city to visit her family, bought a bus ticket for her return, but missed the scheduled trip and took a ticket for the next day's trip, boarding the bus that had the accident.
On February 1st, Sunday, in the Döşemealtı district of Antalya, a passenger bus belonging to Buzlu Tourism overturned into a ditch after failing to take a turn, resulting in the death of 10 people and injuries to 24 others. Among the deceased were Aslı Çevik (47), who was the entertainment manager at a tourist hotel in the Manavgat district, and Resmiye Göktepe (62). Their bodies were brought to their hometown of Eskişehir after the autopsy procedures.
THEY WERE BURIED WITH TEARS
A funeral prayer was held for Aslı Çevik at the Ömer Ağa Mosque in the Şeker neighborhood of the Tepebaşı district. Friends of Aslı Çevik, along with her family, attended the funeral. After the prayer, she was laid to rest at the Asri Cemetery with tears.
The funeral prayer for Resmiye Göktepe (62), who died in the accident, was held at the 100th Year Mosque. Göktepe, who was attended by her relatives, was buried at the Asri Cemetery with tears.
