In a post-surgery statement, Prof. Dr. Murat Dayangaç noted that both the donor and recipient operations were successfully carried out, stating, "It was a technically challenging surgery that lasted approximately 10-11 hours. The previous surgical procedures our patient underwent made the process even more complex. However, as a whole team, we completed the operation without any issues and we are satisfied with the result," he said.

Providing information about the treatment process, Assoc. Dr. Cenk Şimşek stated that Özkan was taken to intensive care after the surgery, saying, "Currently, there are no negative developments. We will closely monitor our patient." It has been learned that Ufuk Özkan is planned to be moved to the ward after the intensive care process in the coming days.
