The hospital provided the following information: "Mr. Süm Süreyya ÖNDER was brought to our hospital by ambulance at 22:41 on 15.04.2025, unconscious, in respiratory and cardiac arrest. He urgently underwent a Bentall operation (aortic valve replacement and ascending aorta replacement) and single artery bypass surgery with the diagnosis of "Aortic Dissection." After the surgery, the patient's hemodynamic stability was ensured under ECMO (heart support device) and intensive medical treatment in our intensive care unit.
CAUSE OF DEATH: MULTIPLE ORGAN FAILURE
The patient's neurological condition worsened as his life-threatening situation increasingly escalated, leading to multiple organ failure. Despite the follow-up and treatment in our intensive care unit, Mr. Sırrı Süreyya Önder passed away on 03.05.2025 at 16:10 due to multiple organ failure on the 18th day.
