The lifeless body of a 42-year-old man who went missing in Giresun was found by the Harşit River. The murder was clarified by PTS and phone records. The suspect, who was taken into custody, confessed during cross-examination that he had killed the individual.

Yusuf Alim (42), who left his home in the Doğankent district of Giresun around 01:00 the previous night, has not been heard from since. Upon the family's report, the Doğankent District Gendarmerie Command, JASAT, TEM, KOM, and Intelligence teams launched a large-scale search operation.

As a result of the investigations, it was determined that Alim had gotten into a vehicle whose license plate and model have not yet been identified and was heading towards Tirebolu. Within the scope of the investigation, License Plate Recognition System (LPR) records and phone calls were scrutinized. The obtained data pointed to a vehicle with the license plate 28 TA 023 belonging to 46-year-old Nuri A. It was found that Nuri A, who has a criminal record for theft, had spoken to Yusuf Alim on the night of the incident.

Nuri A, who was taken into custody, confessed to the murder during cross-examination. The suspect, who admitted to killing Alim, stated that he threw the murder weapon into the Harşit River. After his procedures at the gendarmerie, Nuri A was referred to the courthouse, where he was arrested by the court and sent to Espiye L-Type Prison. Meanwhile, it was learned that Yusuf Alim, whose body was found shot after his disappearance, had a record of usury, and murder suspect Nuri A had a record for theft.
