The domestic and national next-generation speed detection radar device MEDAR MTS has been used by police and gendarmerie teams for a year. The radar device can issue fines to 4 vehicles simultaneously and can operate without the need for an operator.
The domestic and national next-generation speed detection radar device MEDAR MTS, designed and produced by Radarsan Radar Technologies in coordination with the Presidency of Defense Industries and the General Directorate of Security, has been used by police and gendarmerie teams for 1 year.
THERE'S NO ESCAPE FOR RULE BREAKERS
Thanks to the domestic and national speed violation detection system, vehicles that violate the rules are detected one by one and fined. The name of Turkey's domestic and national next-generation speed detection radar device is MEDAR MTS. Designed as a laser-based mobile speed detection device, this system has been used by gendarmerie and police traffic teams in all provinces of Turkey for 1 year. MEDAR MTS has advanced features such as the ability to simultaneously detect the speed of multiple vehicles on 4-lane roads, night vision capability, and the ability to take instant photos and videos of vehicles that violate speed limits.
NO OPERATOR REQUIRED
Turkey's domestic and national next-generation speed detection radar device has been developed as an AI-supported mobile speed detection system. Produced in collaboration with the Presidency of Defense Industries and the General Directorate of Security, this system can operate without the need for an operator. It can read vehicle license plates, types, and speed data in all weather conditions, both day and night.
NEARLY 6,000 DRIVERS FINED
The General Directorate of Security sends real-time data to the PolNet network, notifying traffic teams of vehicles that violate speed limits. It has a night vision system and can detect vehicles such as motorcycles, cars, trucks, and vans simultaneously on 4-lane roads. With AI support, it can also analyze the brand and color information of vehicles. This system aims to enhance traffic safety in Turkey and reduce dependency on foreign technology. It has been reported that nearly 6,000 drivers were fined for rule violations identified by MEDAR MTS during the Ramadan holiday and vacation period.
