In the Gebze district of Kocaeli, a suspect entered a restaurant with a gun, shot one person, and took those inside hostage. Upon receiving the alert, special operations forces were dispatched to the scene, while the suspect refused to hand over the injured person to the medical teams and is not allowing anyone to enter the premises.

While the hostage crisis continues in a restaurant in the Gebze district of Kocaeli, it has been learned that one person inside was shot.

A suspect entered the restaurant on Istasyon Street in Osmangazi Neighborhood with a gun and shot a person inside, injuring them. The suspect then took those inside hostage.

SPECIAL OPERATIONS DISPATCHED

While the suspect refused to hand over the injured person to the medical teams, he is not allowing anyone to enter. Police and special operations teams have taken extensive security measures in the area.
