Ibrahim Tatlıses, who has previously been in the news due to tensions with his son Ahmet Tatlı and daughter Dilan Çıtak, has now come face to face with his brother Hüseyin Tatlı. Hüseyin Tatlı reacted strongly to his brother Ibrahim Tatlıses's comment, "You won't amount to anything," stating that he has never supported him. Tatlı expressed his discontent with his brother by saying, "You lied, it doesn't suit you."
The master artist İbrahim Tatlıses, who has been in the news for a while due to issues with his family, confronted his brother Hüseyin Tatlı. Speaking on the Gel Konuşalım program, İbrahim Tatlıses stated, "I told my brother, 'Son, you won't amount to anything, don't tire yourself.'" Following these words from his brother, an angry Hüseyin Tatlı made a statement on his social media account.
Hüseyin Tatlı emphasized that his brother İbrahim Tatlıses did not say to him, "Son, you won't amount to anything, don't tire yourself," stating, "They say, 'Sit straight, speak correctly.' You said to me, 'Son, you won't amount to anything, don't tire yourself.' There was never such a conversation between us. You lied. Look, this doesn't suit you.
"Weren't you the one who said, 'Let's make him eat bird droppings'?"
Weren't you the one who, in the car with Ahmet, next to the late Topal Halaf, listened to my voice and joked, 'Let's make him eat bird droppings'? In other words, you are denying what you believed today. Without prolonging... When you made the first album for me in 2000, you recalled it from the market 10 days later. It had sold 360 thousand copies.
"You always blocked me"
You had my music video removed from King TV. They wanted 10,000 brands from Australia for me. You sent Ebru Yaşar in my place. Just a year and a half ago, I came to Bodrum to see you, I sang 'Yallah Şoför,' and I said, 'Brother, share a story,' you hesitated and said, 'I won't share.' I said, 'We're brothers, what's the problem?' but it didn't work. I have endless things to tell. If you really wanted to support me, at least you could have done this: you could have called your producer Polat Yağcı and said, 'Take Hüseyin Tatlı under our wing. Do something, whether it's a concert or a song,' and it would have been done. If nothing had come of it at that time, I would have applauded you. For now, that's enough... My mother's son..." he said.
