Security camera footage has emerged of a gunfight that broke out between two groups in front of a private hospital in the Kızıltepe district of Mardin, resulting in the death of Suud Chechen (56) and injuries to four others.

The incident occurred on January 26 in front of a private hospital. A dispute between the two groups escalated into a gunfight. In the fight, Suud Chechen, A.Ç. (54), S.Ç. (24), D.Ç. (52), and M.A. (30) were injured.

1 PERSON DIED

Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals after the intervention of the health team. Suud Chechen, who was taken to Kızıltepe State Hospital, could not be saved despite all the doctors' interventions.

Suud Chechen's body was handed over to his relatives after the autopsy procedures yesterday and was buried in the rural Elmalı neighborhood amid tears. It was reported that 10 suspects were detained in connection with the incident. The suspects' processing at the police station is ongoing.
