During Ramadan, 250 grams of Ramadan pita will be sold for 25 lira in Ankara and Istanbul. There will be no changes to bread prices for now.

With only a few days left until the month of Ramadan, the prices of the eagerly awaited Ramadan pita have been announced. Halil İbrahim Balcı, the President of the Turkish Bakers Federation, announced the selling price that will be applied in Ankara and Istanbul.

According to the information provided by Balcı, this year, 250 grams of Ramadan pita will be sold for 25 lira in Ankara and Istanbul. Thus, the price of pita, which is an indispensable part of Ramadan tables in the two major cities, has been clarified.

NO CHANGE IN BREAD PRICES FOR NOW

On the other hand, Balcı emphasized that there is currently no increase in bread prices. He stated that bread prices will be reassessed at the end of March and that they will work together with the Ministry of Trade during this process.
