In Istanbul, security teams conducted an operation against illegal vehicle and motorcycle gatherings that take place every Saturday night in Tuzla. Following complaints about drifting and loud noises, the area was cordoned off, and numerous vehicles were processed. A total of 46 vehicles were banned from traffic, and fines amounting to 1 million 146 thousand TL were issued.
An operation was carried out against unauthorized vehicle and motorcycle gatherings held every Saturday night in the Tuzla district of Istanbul.
RECORD FINE
During the inspections, 84 motorcycle and vehicle drivers who were found to violate traffic rules were subjected to 238 administrative actions in accordance with the relevant articles of the Highway Traffic Law No. 2918. In this context, a total administrative fine of 1 million 146 thousand TL was imposed.
46 VEHICLES REMOVED FROM TRAFFIC
During the operation, 46 vehicles were removed from traffic due to various rule violations and technical deficiencies. It was reported that the teams conducted intensive checks on speed, license plates, exhausts, safety equipment, and driving safety. Legal action was initiated against 5 drivers who were determined to endanger traffic safety during the inspections.
