Ali Sevim, who went to an ATM with two of his friends in Avcılar to pay the rent, placed 20,800 Turkish lira into the cash dispenser but left without pressing the confirmation button. After a while, a passerby heard the warning sound of the ATM returning the payment and took the money from the dispenser before leaving the scene. The incident was captured by the security camera of a nearby business.
Three friends who left their workplace in the Mustafa Kemal Paşa neighborhood of Avcılar, Istanbul, wanted to pay Ali Sevim's rent of 21 thousand lira at the ATM. Şerif Yalçın, who placed the money in the machine, left the place with his friends without pressing the confirmation button.

"THE LANDLORD GAVE TWO WEEKS TIME"
Ali Sevim, who could not reach his rent to the landlord, said, "We will pay helplessly. We asked the landlord for time. He gave us two weeks. If we find the money, we will pay." Şerif Yalçın, who was with him at the time of the deposit, said, "We put 21 thousand lira into the ATM. It gave us back 200 lira. The last thing left was the confirmation button. While the ATM was beeping, we moved away. Someone came from behind and took the money. We have two separate camera recordings. This friend is a victim. We have applied to the necessary places. We reported it to the police. This is theft. He can take this and give it to the police," he said.

One of the three friends trying to reach the person who took the money via social media identified and stopped this person yesterday. It was learned that this person, who briefly asked Şerif Yalçın for the money while explaining the situation, said he would return the money he took.
