Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Moscow to hold various meetings following his contacts in Turkey. The spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, confirmed Araghchi's visit, stating, "We confirm that the Iranian Foreign Minister has come to Moscow for a series of meetings."
The spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, announced that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Moscow from Istanbul.
While the Israel-Iran conflicts, which began with Israeli attacks, continue; diplomatic traffic is also ongoing. According to the information obtained, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi went to Russia after his visit to Turkey.
IRANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER IN MOSCOW
In a statement to Russian news agencies, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova confirmed that Araghchi arrived in Moscow, the capital of Russia, from Istanbul. Zakharova stated, "We confirm that the Iranian Foreign Minister has come to Moscow for a series of meetings."
Araghchi is also expected to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Moscow.
WHAT HAPPENED?
During a press conference held as part of the 51st Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Istanbul, Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi made evaluations regarding the attack by the USA on three nuclear plants in Iran.
The Iranian Minister said, "I am going to Moscow this afternoon. I will have a meeting with President Putin (Russian President Vladimir Putin) tomorrow morning. Russia is a friend of Iran. There is a strategic partnership between the two countries. We always consult each other and coordinate our positions."
