It was stated that the outbreak in Texas, which has been ongoing for three months, accounts for the majority of the confirmed cases with 683 reported as of the day before yesterday. The outbreak has also spread to New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Kansas. Other states experiencing active outbreaks defined as three or more cases include Indiana, Michigan, Montana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee.
