Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin responded sharply to the criticisms from the opposition regarding the "Ramadan at the Heart of Education" events. Tekin stated, "I invite the opposition to first learn to read and write. There is a group that thinks making criticisms without reading or understanding is politics."

The Ministry of National Education (MEB) will organize events themed "Ramadan in the Heart of Education" in schools during Ramadan. According to a statement from the ministry, educational and social activities will be carried out to develop students' awareness of sharing, strengthen feelings of cooperation and solidarity, and promote national and spiritual values such as unity, justice, compassion, and patriotism throughout Ramadan. A letter was sent to 81 provinces with the signature of Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin.
