Kerem Kamal, who represented our country in the Greco-Roman style 63 kg category at the European Wrestling Championship held in Slovakia, won the gold medal by defeating Karen Aslanyan from Armenia 7-2 in the final. This victory marks Kerem's second European championship title, bringing Turkey its first gold medal in this championship.
Our national wrestler Kerem Kamal, competing in the 2025 European Wrestling Championship held in Slovakia, won a gold medal in the Greco-Roman style 63 kg category.
HE DEFEATED HIS ARMENIAN RIVAL
In the Greco-Roman style 63 kg final at the event held in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, Kerem faced Armenian Karen Aslanyan. Kerem defeated his opponent 7-2, becoming European champion once again after 2022.

25-year-old Kerem, who became European champion for the second time, brought Turkey its first gold medal in the 2025 European Wrestling Championship.
