The masked individuals stole jewelry and gold worth approximately 16 million lira and then fled after closing the shutter. CAUGHT SLEEPING ON THE ROOF
The teams from the Public Order Branch's Theft Bureau tracked the suspects by examining hundreds of security cameras and approximately 2,000 motorcycles. It was determined that the suspects came from Adana on two motorcycles and preferred village roads to avoid being caught on camera. An operation was organized to capture the identified suspects. In the operation, 6 individuals, including the 4 suspects who committed the crime, all of whom had criminal records for 'safe burglary', were caught in Adana. The capture of one suspect while sleeping on the roof was also reflected in the footage. The suspects were brought to Mersin for questioning at the police station and were referred to the courthouse. The suspects identified as Cemal K., Sadık K., Şükrü B., and Şaban A., who were determined to have carried out the robbery, were arrested, while the other 2 were released under judicial control conditions.
