In an operation targeting organized crime groups involved in motorcycle shootings, robbery, and threats in Istanbul, 69 people were arrested. It has been learned that among the detained suspects are those who carried out an armed attack on Dilan Polat's bodyguard. Security camera footage from the moment of the attack has also emerged.

The teams of the Istanbul Police Department's Organized Crime Fighting Branch recently pursued suspects who carried out a grenade attack on a nightclub in Kağıthane. Investigations revealed that the individuals involved in the incident were members of an organized crime group known as the 'Gündoğmuşlar' gang.
THEY HAVE PARTICIPATED IN 15 DIFFERENT ACTIONS
During the investigations, it was determined that the same gang members were involved in 15 different actions in Bahçelievler, Beşiktaş, Esenyurt, Gaziosmanpaşa, Kağıthane, and Sarıyer. After completing their work, the teams conducted an operation against the suspects.
THE ATTACK ON DILAN POLAT'S BODYGUARD WAS CARRIED OUT BY THE DALTONS
Meanwhile, while the police teams continued their work, an armed attack was carried out on Dilan Polat's bodyguard, who was receiving treatment at a hospital in Ümraniye. Following the attack, the organized crime police began investigations related to the incident. The police teams identified the instigator of the attack as Bünyamin Yıkar, one of the leaders of the organized crime group known as the 'Daltons', who was detained and released in Greece. Approximately 30 hours after the attack, 4 suspects involved in the incident were captured and taken into custody.
69 DETENTIONS
The teams detained a total of 69 suspects in 3 different operations. During searches at the addresses of the detained suspects, 1 long-barreled weapon, 111 unlicensed pistols, 112 magazines, 5 silencers, 85 various caliber cartridges, and 1,007 weapon mechanisms were seized. While investigations continue for 29 of the captured suspects, judicial control measures were applied to 2 individuals who were referred to the courthouse. 38 suspects were arrested by the court and sent to prison.

The weapons seized during the operations were displayed at the police station. The Provincial Police Chief Selami Yıldız also attended the exhibition. After examining the weapons, Yıldız made a statement regarding the operation.
