While conducting the investigation into the "newborn gang" in Istanbul, the public prosecutor Yavuz Engin, who came to the forefront with images of being threatened with death, stated on his social media account, "The person named Yılmaz Güney is a judge killer. He is a state enemy with a terrorist mentality. He is stateless. Do not let your children watch him."

Public Prosecutor Yavuz Engin made headlines in the trial of the 'Newborn Gang', where Mustafa Kemal Zengin and 12 defendants were being tried, by stating that the suspects threatened him and his family with death, saying, "I have 16 bullets, I have one life; if they have the power, let them come and take it."
WHO IS YAVUZ ENGİN?
Yavuz Engin stands out as one of the legal figures closely monitored by Turkey. Born in Germany in 1989, Engin completed his education in Turkey. He completed his primary and secondary education at Bolu 50th Year Secondary School and his high school education at Bolu İzzet Baysal Anatolian High School. After graduating from high school in 2008, Engin started at Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 2009 and graduated in 2013.
After his graduation, Engin completed his internship at the Istanbul Bar Association and began his professional career as a candidate prosecutor in 2014. He started his duty by being appointed to the Saruhanlı Public Prosecutor's Office.
