A 26-year-old man in the Konyaaltı district of Antalya was killed in a knife attack at his home. It was learned that the suspect, who was caught shortly after, had met the young man online.
Friends of İlhan Çobanoğlu, who lives on the 3rd floor of a 4-story apartment in the Toros neighborhood of Antalya's Konyaaltı district, reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center after not hearing from him for a long time and being unable to get him to open the door.
STABBED MULTIPLE TIMES
Upon the notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams, who entered the apartment with the help of a locksmith, found 26-year-old Çobanoğlu lying on the floor in a pool of blood. In the examination conducted by the medical teams, it was determined that the young man had been stabbed in various parts of his body and on his face, and he had lost his life.
CAUGHT 2 HOURS LATER
Following the incident, the Antalya Police Department's Public Order Branch Homicide Bureau teams launched a large-scale investigation and determined the escape route of the suspect. As a result of a hot pursuit, the murder suspect Y.E.Ç. was caught and detained in the Aksu district approximately 2 hours after the incident.

It was learned that İlhan Çobanoğlu and the suspect, 21-year-old Y.E.Ç., met online and had a dispute at home for an unknown reason. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
