Two individuals, aged 29 and 18, who were alleged to have harassed a 15-year-old girl in Kağıthane, Istanbul, were stabbed by the girl's 16-year-old brother. In the incident that caused chaos in the street, one of the stabbed individuals was seriously injured. A relative of the child attempted to attack the injured individuals as they were being taken to the ambulance and was forcibly removed from the scene. The events were captured on a mobile phone camera, and the brother who was taken into custody was released under judicial control.
In Istanbul's Kağıthane district, a 16-year-old brother stabbed two individuals, aged 29 and 18, who were harassing his 15-year-old sister.
STABBED THOSE HARASSING HIS SISTER
The incident occurred on Sunday, November 23, around 1:45 PM in the Hamidiye neighborhood. According to reports, the 15-year-old girl E.N. was harassed by two individuals. After E.N. explained the situation, her 16-year-old brother M.C.N. saw the two individuals who were allegedly harassing his sister on the street. A dispute between the parties quickly escalated into a fight. During the altercation, M.C.N. pulled out a knife and injured M.M.B. in the arm and K.A. under the armpit. Nearby citizens intervened to separate the brawl that had erupted in the street. The Kağıthane Patrol Teams intervened in the fight that lasted for several minutes.
INCIDENT CAPTURED ON CAMERA SECOND BY SECOND
The brother M.C.N., who used the knife during the incident, was detained by the police. Health teams, who arrived upon notification, provided first aid to M.M.B., who was lightly injured, and K.A., who was seriously injured, at the scene. During this time, a relative of E.N. attempted to attack the injured individuals being treated in the ambulance. The assailant was forcibly removed by nearby citizens. The events were captured on a mobile phone camera second by second.
RELEASED UNDER JUDICIAL CONTROL
M.M.B., who was taken to Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital by ambulance, was discharged after treatment. It was learned that K.A., who was seriously injured, still had a life-threatening condition. Meanwhile, M.C.N., who was taken to the police station, was referred to the courthouse after legal proceedings were initiated against him. M.C.N., whose statement was taken at the prosecutor's office, was released under judicial control by the court on charges of 'intentional injury.'
