Yasemin, who survived the massacre committed by Selçuk Tengioğlu 21 years ago by jumping from a balcony, called the CHP headquarters to convey her well wishes to CHP leader Özgür Özel, who was attacked. Expressing her fear after her father's release, she said, "I can't find the words, I am very sad."
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel was attacked after the funeral of the late DEM Party Member of Parliament Sırrı Süreyya Önder. It was revealed that the attacker was Selçuk Tengioğlu, who had murdered his children 21 years ago. Tengioğlu's daughter Yasemin, who survived the attack 21 years ago in Hatay by jumping from the balcony, had gone abroad. After the attack, Tengioğlu's daughter Yasemin called the CHP Headquarters.
SHE DESCRIBED WHAT SHE LIVED THROUGH IN TEARS
It was reported that Yasemin, who called the CHP Headquarters in tears, expressed that she had escaped by jumping from the balcony during her father's attack and conveyed her best wishes to CHP Chairman Özgür Özel.
"I AM VERY SORRY"
It was noted that the person, who expressed that they were scared after their father's release and wanted to contact CHP officials, said, "I can't find the words, I am very sorry."
HE COMMITTED A MASSACRE ON MOTHER'S DAY
On Mother's Day in 2004, Selçuk Tengioğlu, a father of 5 children, arrived at his home around 4:00 AM, pulled out his gun, and started shouting.
Upon hearing the shouting, Tengioğlu shot his son Barış (19) and daughter Mutlu (17).
Realizing that his injured children were not dead, Tengioğlu then stabbed his children, whom he had injured with a gun, to death with a bread knife.
During the incident, Tengioğlu's other daughter Yasemin (16) escaped by jumping from the back balcony of the second-floor apartment.
Neighbors who heard the gunshots called the police, and the police arrived at the scene and arrested Tengioğlu at home with a knife and gun.
