HE RAN OVER A PERSON WITH THE BUS
According to the information obtained, at around 22:00, the driver A.K. of the passenger bus with license plate 34 JB 2069, which was traveling from Doğubeyazıt to İzmir, hit something he could not fully identify about 20 kilometers before Sivas Bus Station. Continuing on without stopping, the driver called the gendarmerie to report that he might have run over a person.
A DISMEMBERED MALE BODY WAS FOUND
When the bus entered Sivas Bus Station, gendarmerie teams placed the driver under surveillance and conducted an examination on and under the bus. The teams, who did not find any signs of a collision on the bus, searched for an injured person near Göydün village on the Sivas-Erzincan highway, where the driver claimed the incident occurred. During the search, a dismembered male body was discovered.
The prosecutor who went to the scene initiated work to identify the deceased and to understand how he died. The bus, along with its passengers, is being held at the bus station until the incident is clarified.
