Müjde Karamık, the daughter of Fatmana Karamık, who was found dead in her home in Antalya, and her boyfriend İsmail Keskin have been detained on suspicion of murder in connection with the 70-year-old woman's death. The suspects were arrested by the court they were brought before and sent to prison.

Yesterday at around 10:00 AM in the Kızılsaray neighborhood of the Muratpaşa district in Antalya, Müjde Karamık and her boyfriend İsmail Keskin called the police, stating that they found Müjde's mother, Fatmana Karamık, in the living room covered in blood.

DEATH CONSIDERED SUSPICIOUS

Health teams dispatched to the scene determined that Karamık had passed away. Following the report from the municipal doctor indicating that the death was suspicious and the discovery of a fracture in Karamık's head due to a blow, the Homicide Bureau teams launched an investigation. The lifeless body of the elderly woman was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy.

SECURITY CAMERAS UNDER REVIEW

Police teams examined the security camera at the entrance of the apartment and other camera footage in the vicinity to identify individuals entering and exiting the building. As part of these efforts, Müjde Karamık and İsmail Keskin were called in for questioning.

ARREST WARRANT

Müjde Karamık stated that they had arranged to go to the hospital with her mother and that when they arrived home, they found the door closed and entered with a spare key, discovering her mother on the floor.

After their procedures, the duo was arrested by the duty magistrate and sent to prison.
